Just a little blog to say thank-you to Sue, Bruce, Linda, Phil and Jim at the Art and Design workshops for making me feel so welcome.
I moved in officially on the 1st October after days of painting the walls and shelf units , It felt like it a big blank canvas and have almost filled it with goodies for sale. Vicki-Sue Brotherhood MA Textile Design

Vicki-Sue Brotherhood’s thought provoking textiles and digital surface designs illustrate enhancing experiences from her own journey through life. Excited by the endless possibilities of modern digital technologies she continually challenges perception through unexpected material applications.

Brotherhood’s most recent body of work also responds to the notion of personal economic compromise, and how this relates to one’s domestic stance, for example holidaying in the UK and eating in at home.

The devil is in the detail with Brotherhood’s work, Influenced largely by traditional pattern and design she personalises her designs with a contemporary twist, inviting the viewer to look more closely to reveal the full story.

We are honoured and delighted to welcome a new designer/artist to the Trevaunance Workshops this month-Vicki-Sue Brotherhood.
Vicki has recently completed an MA in Textile Design and brings her own unique brand of creations and designs to the studios here in St Agnes.
